We have an IPTV system in our lab and we need a trans-coder to convert input videos to TS format. I want to know the differences between "Mainconcept Reference 2.1 Broadcast Vesion" and "Xilisoft software". What do we lose if we trans-code our videos with Xilisoft? Please tell me the advantages and disadvantages of using Xilisoft instead of Mainconcept for converting the format to TS.

The main advantage of Xilisoft HD Video Converter is its price. While the Mainconcept product costs more than $200, the Xilisoft HD Video Converter price is around $39.95. You will not lose anything if you trans-code your videos with the Xilisoft software. The process is very similar on both programs. Also, Xilisoft HD Video Converter supports more video formats as input and output. Another advantage of Xilisoft is that it requires few resources to run, while some of Mainconcept modules require PCs with better configuration.
